The 17th Civil Chamber of the Court of Cassation ruled that, in an action for annulment of an objection brought by way of subrogation against the relevant administrative authority — after the insurance company had paid its insured for vehicle damage caused by a defect in road infrastructure (a manhole cover) — holding the administrative authority liable was in accordance with procedure and law. The lower court's judgment against the administrative authority was upheld on this ground.
